William Curtis Ketogenic diet for parkinson's

How many people on this forum have used MCT oil and a ketogenic diet to stop their tremors and uncontrolled movements which could potentially replace your sinemet? Go to youtube and search William Curtis ketogenic or William Curtis Parkinson and you will be able to see his video. I wish my mother had done a ketogenic diet instead of taking sinemet.

Keto diet and Parkinson's

Nancy, my husband died with Parkinson's in October 2018 aged 86. In April 2018 he had received a feeding tube in his stomach (PEG tube) due to loss of ability to swallow. The formula was very sweet. I never saw anyone decline so fast. Before receiving the feeding tube he had been eating a low sugar diet at home. Once on the formula, his Parkinson's symptoms rapidly worsened.

I am with you on the idea of trying a ketogenic diet for Parkinson's. Unfortunately, the doctors and dietician never allowed a low sugar diet for my husband.

William Curtis is a very interesting fellow and seems to have improved his PD symptoms greatly with his modified Keto regimen. However, he readily admits he continues using PD medications.
