Is Myelomalacia caused from MS?

Hello I had a mri done on my spine and no one has explained the results to me I went to a neurosurgeon and he said he can’t comment on MS because it’s not really in his practice and that surgery will not do me any good. I’m so lost, anyone know anything about this?

As far as I can see from PubMed myelomalacia is not associated with MS; it is commonly associated with physical injury to the spinal cord.

I suggest that you describe the details of your experiences in the Spinal Disorders forum (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum22/) other members may be able to help you.
