Hydrocephalus - VP Shunt Implant

Good Day Family,

I recently had a VP Shunt Implant and although the headaches are gone, I am slower than I was. I am not remember well. My focus is null. At work, I'm dazing and not interested in doing anything. Some mornings I don't even want to get up. My patients are extremely short. I don't have a filter anymore, I say exactly how I feel.

Do anyone have any insight?

Hi Justbnme1

Welcome to NeuroTalk :).

I hope that you get lots of good suggestions about your shunt (it is something that I know nothing about).

Best wishes.

My 46 yr old daughter had a shunt placed in April 2018. Prior to that she was incontinent , gait issues, memory issues. After 6 months she hates getting up in the morning. Always tired. No interest in anything. Still has confusion. And always fatigued. Some days her balance is better than other days. She couldn’t hold a job now. So you are fortunate. She has no filter either. She’s living in an assisted living facility now.
