Not happy at the Dentist office
My dentist has periodically referred to her "anxiety" even though I know she means "bipolar."
She has talked about getting her DNA done to find help for better meds. She had stomach surgery in the hope that losing weight would make a difference with her "anxiety. She has siblings who are Medical Doctors but they haven't helped her. =-=- Today I was in a rotten mood so I asked if she had bipolar cousins all over the family tree like I did and she said "yes." =-=-=-=- We are both screwed. you have an interesting dentist.

I run into lots of random health care workers who have their own stories or worries about family members that they want to share with me after they see my scars, or read my medical (which includes psych) history. Sometimes it's okay, but sometimes I feel like they really cross boundaries, and I don't like it, but I try to stay polite because I know they may not have anyone else to confide in.

Yes, I too see many. But with my job. I'm always looking for
ways to help children or adults with disabilities. :grouphug::hug: Donna |
Exactly.
The dentist crossed a lot of lines. Perhaps she would be willing to pay me to listen to her. M |

That's exactly how I feel in those situations, Mari! |
I totally agree, that why I'd just let her know her opinions cost
her money. |
I have said once or twice that someone is making me uncomfortable, etc so I don't want to talk about it anymore. But it is hard because the subject seems to weigh so heavily on these people and they want to vent.
