Thanksgiving
 

Are any of you doing anything for Thanksgiving?

ENJOY!


I have little interest in most things, but hubby might meet-up with a couple
of buddies.

We are going to a pot luck again.
There will be about 15 people there.
I will drink tea to stay on my challenge of not drinking any alcohol for the month of november and maybe until vacation? today will be 3 weeks AF.
I am down about 10 pounds including water weight loss so I don't want to eat too too much. They are having cherry, homemade pie, which is my favorite!



We will bring green bean casserole and crawfish dip. I bought the ingredients on monday. Karen is going with us. I asked her if she wanted to come early and hang out with us. She is contributing a veggie chili and shredded carrots, things that she can eat because she is a vegetarian.



Our host prepare an organic turkey that they brine over night and is very tasty. I like the dark meat the thigh and usually try to steal some of it as they are carving it up.

We are going to Golden Corral this year. I just decided one
day last week I didn't want to clean all week. And then cook
all day. So that is my day, It will be Derrick, Dan, Dale and
I. Devin is working both Thanksgiving and Black Friday so he
can be off next Tuesday through Thursday for Meluvja's surgery
she is having an hysterectomy. So he needs to be off for her.

Anyway I'm looking forward to it.

I'm glad that you don't have any cooking or cleaning to do this year :)

I don't mind the cooking so much, but I hate the pre-cleaning and the dishes!!!
