Heriditary Neuropathy - Genetic advice again

Hi ,

Haven't been on here for a while, not much to update really, my sister and I were seen at Oxford over a year ago, all blood tests came back normal for sodium channelopathy. However the professor still thought that we had a sodium channel neuropathy which has been undiscovered yet. They say that symptoms can vary between people, and even some people who have a sodium channelopathy don't develop symptoms so this is why we possibly have no family history i.e no parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles with symptoms. My sister does not suffer with any symptoms, even though she had a positive skin biopsy. I just wondered if any body Knew of any other hereditary neuropathies that could be the cause. I believe there are different HSN neuropathies but I don't think this fits as we don't have any relatives apart from us with the condition. I have also had some funny feelings in muscles and throat, I am wondering if this is actually a sodium channelopathy as normally this just affects the sensory nerves. Any ideas??
