Concussion Sleep Issues Anyone?
Just wondered if there is anyone on here like me still suffering from sleep issues after a concussion? It's over 4 1/2 years since my accident with a door, my sleep has improved but still very patchy. Last week I had to resort to over the counter Nytol sleeping tablets to get a good nights sleep. A week after my concussion I woke with tinnitus which flares up sometimes to compound matters. They both seem related somehow. How do folk cope?

I don't think there's a quick cure. When I first used to wake I used to be wide awake in flight/fight mode I guess. I think I gradually became more relaxed by retraining my brain with meditation, slow breathing, walks and trying to reduce stress. Now when I wake it takes me less time to get back to sleep and I wake feeling OK. I hear AD's do seem to help with sleep, especially at first.

can anyone recommend any remedy for this?
