Plumber coming in the afternoon

It's forty-six degrees outside right now and too cool in the house.
I am happy to have my electric blanket.:)

The plumber is coming Monday after noon to fix something in my shower. ---Not sure what it is exactly and don't care to to have it
explained to me as long as it gets fixed

I hope the plumber has an easy fix....it is 35 degrees here...don't like it. our house feels cold too. It is warmer here than in pensicola.
It is -9 in south bend.

I'm jealous of your "warm" weather lol :p
I hate it when it's cold in the apartment, too. I know it doesn't matter if it's 1 degree or 60 degrees out. I hope things warm up for you both

I hope the shower problem is a cheap and easy fix, Mari :hug::hug:

Oh gosh, you ladies are warm compared to my area and house.

Its been in the - for days with the wind chill. I'm honestly not
even sure what. I quit trying to figure it out.

I am just hibernating in my house. Till tomorrow.

I hope you can keep warm inside! abby spent so much time on me today. I wonder if it is because my apartment is chilly.

The plumber couldn't come to fix my bathroom so hubby again
went to HOME DEPOT to figure out what he needed.
He fixed it eventually.

I'm worn out. I wish he could handle stuff without talking about it.

Am so glad that hubby fixed it him self.
I bet he felt good about that.
I hear plumbing is like a puzzle, pieces fit into other pieces.
I have no interest in doing any plumbing.
When we bought the house back in 2002, I was running high and thought that I could do the plumbing myself. Which I did install the kitchen sinks facet set. WE had plumbers out there for another reason and I asked them if they could just tighten up up every thing for me and they did.
I felt proud of myself for doing that.

could I do it today...probably not.

No plumbing for me. Not even unclogging a sink.

A few many years ago when my husband worked a job he
had to go away for a few days, I had a clogged sink no one
to help. So I thought how hard can it be. I should have
just left it. I used the wrong combination of chemicals no
clue now what they were to many years ago over 20. But
suffice to say I gave myself bronchitis. A chemical bronchitis,
the doctor was wondering till I gave him a list of the things I
used why I was so sure it was that. He agreed with me and gave
the breathing help. But suggested I leave the unclogging to the
professionals not even suggesting the hubby. I totally agreed.

Good for your husband for being able to take care of the plumbing problem himself (eventually lol).

My husband is capable of doing A LOT more than he does. When he does do things, he takes his sweet time, and gets mad at me for asking him/reminding to do it. I used to do A LOT of things myself that I'm no longer capable of doing.
