Baclofen

Does anyone know what baclofen does to your body after years of use and also can one just stop taking it?

Baclofen (Baclofen Tablets): Side Effects, Interactions, Warning, Dosage & Uses

I have PPMS and have been taking it for years, but always on an as needed basis. I don't take it every day or even every month, just when the leg issues hit and I stop, cold turkey when they stop.

I take 20mg 3x a day. I personally wouldn't stop it suddenly because the pain would be unbearable.

Thank-you for your reply. My neuro told me NEVER to stop it cold turkey, but there are times when I can go for 12+ hours without it. He also said it should always be in your system to work properly so I have always taken some. Even just a tiny bit at times. So this is good to know.:)

I take 20 mg 3 times a day. I take it whether I feel like I need it at the time or not. Staying ahead of the pain is the goal. If you wait until you're in pain you've waited too long.
