Root Canal teeth infected? Periodontal Ligament removed? Ozone gas?

So I found all of these other ideas when it comes to dentistry, but it's extremely hard to find info on this stuff.

1. Are root canal teeth usually infected, but no one really realizes it because the nerves are gone? Are root canals not as safe as we have all been led to believe?

2. When having a tooth removed, should the periodontal ligament also be removed?

3. Are Cavitations a real thing?

4. What's with the Ozone gas treatment?

Thanks for any input.

Netflix has been running a documentary called "Root Cause." I think it might be very useful for you to see.

Ok so I googled it and everyone saying it's BS, but a lot of it actually makes sense so idk what to think. Weird how basically no one knows any of this.

Hi jt99,

To answer your questions, I have copied them and will reply in caps.

1. Are root canal teeth usually infected, but no one really realizes it because the nerves are gone? Are root canals not as safe as we have all been led to believe?

ALL CONVENTIONALLY TREATED ROOT CANALED TEETH ARE INFECTED.
BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE INFECTION IS NOT LIMITED TO JUST THE TOOTH WHICH YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT IN THE READING MATERIAL THAT I HAVE LISTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST .....

SOME OF THE REASONS ROOT CANALED TEETH REMAIN INFECTED..

*THE ONLY NERVES THAT ARE ATTEMPTED TO BE REMOVED DURING A CONVENTIONAL ROOT CANAL OR A SURGICAL ROOT CANAL CALLED AN APICOECTOMY ARE THE NERVES THAT CAN BE RETRIEVED AND SCRAPED OUT FROM INSIDE THE LARGE CANALS.

*REMNANTS OF THOSE NERVES EASILY REMAIN IN THOSE CANALS... SOMETIMES SO MICROSCOPIC THAT THEY CANNOT BE PICKED UP ON AN XRAY.

*THERE ARE ALSO MANY HUNDREDS OF TINY CANALS REFERRED TO AS ACCESSORY CANALS OR DENTIN TUBULES. THESE CANALS ARE MICROSCOPIC AND THEIR CONTENTS CANNOT BE RETRIEVED. THESE CANALS ALWAYS HARBOR NECROTIC AND INFECTED NERVE TISSUE. I WILL POST A DIAGRAM SHOWING THE ANATOMY OF A TOOTH. THE DENTIN TUBULES ARE CLEARLY LABELED.

2. When having a tooth removed, should the periodontal ligament also be removed?

YES.
WHEN HAVING A TOOTH EXTRACTED, THE ENTIRE TOOTH AND ROOT SYSTEM, THE PERIODONTAL LIGAMENT AND ALL DISEASED TISSUE AND BONE SHOULD BE REMOVED. THE SURGICAL SITE SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY DEBRIDED AND IRRIGATED WITH COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF A SALINE SOLUTION.

3. Are Cavitations a real thing?

YES, ABSOLUTELY.
A DENTAL CAVITATION IS A LARGE HOLE OR MULTIPLE HOLES IN THE JAW BONE. THIS OCCURS WHEN JAW BONE CELLS DIE FROM EITHER AN INFECTION OR A BONE DISEASE.

4. What's with the Ozone gas treatment?

*WHEN OZONE THERAPY IS USED PROPERLY AND THOROUGHLY DURING A ROOT CANAL PROCEDURE THE INFECTIOUS FINAL BACTERIA COUNT INSIDE THE TOOTH MAY BE TEMPORARILY LESS COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL RC TREATMENT.
HOWEVER, OZONE THERAPY DOES NOT RENDER THE TOOTH OR THE SURROUNDING LIGAMENT OR JAW BONE HEALTHY AGAIN. THE IMMUNE SYSTEM STILL RECOGNIZES THE NON VITAL TOOTH AS AN OFFENDER.

Thanks so much for all of that info. I will be reading everything. I'm looking into getting one of those B cone dental mri scans because I want to see everything.

Thanks for all that info. I am going to read all of it. I'm looking into getting a cone beam scan now because I want to see everything.

Why does basically no one know any of this information?

Hi jt99,

All dentists have the same basic education.
Some go on to explore specialty fields, still within the realm of conventional teachings, which elaborate on their general education and teach them advanced mechanical skill sets.

Others prefer to have a dual degree and go on to conventional medical school.

There are actually a growing number of dentists who acknowledge the shortcomings of conventional dentistry and wish to seek something beyond their antiquated curriculum. They often explore an education that will broaden their knowledge about toxicity, toxic dental materials and their alternatives, the Weston Price theory, and the significance between oral health and systemic connection.... some even explore Functional Medicine! These dentists often advertise themselves as Biological Dentists .... Holistic Dentists (careful with that title as sometimes just a gimmick) .... and Functional Dentistry.
