Grape Seed Extract is not swallowing the actual seeds but rather a supplement made from the extract of the seeds.

so that cures diabetes?

I don't think it was being suggested as a "cure" but rather as something that can help generally.
If you read the links posted in the first post by caroline it may provide you a better understanding of what they are suggesting.

I had diabetes once a long time ago but it went away on its own. I am not sure if I ate any grapes then.

And if one was to swallow them, they are not hard to swallow, but one can't even find a grape today in the markets that contain seeds. Unless one grows their own and some growers still keep the seeds.
