ALS Residents Initiative
ALS Residence Locations & Friends - ALS RESIDENCE INITIATIVE (ALSRI)

an organization dedicated to expanding the developement of residences specialized to serve amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients; presently there are four of them, the original in Chelsea, Massachusetts, now with two locations there; the Team Gleason House in New Orleans, Louisiana; and most recently, Chelsey Park in Dahlonega, Georgia. The ALS Residents Initiative apparently is working to develop similar residences, "Smart Houses," in Baltimore, Dallas, Maine and Hawai'i. Organizations wishing to do so are developing in New York, California and Florida.
