Earlier tonight we went to the beach. :)



It was absolutely beautiful. :)
It was getting dark when we got there and dark on the way home.
I'm glad he drove.

Hubby and I did consider stopping for dinner but I decided no.


It was my birthday.

Then at home watched Bull Durham on Netflix, a movie from the 1980s that I always enjoy.

Do any of you like cilantro?

Hubby loves it. I have had to explain to him more than once that people respond to it according to their genes.


Apparently for some people it tastes like soap.

I can't even abide the smell.

I like cilantro in salsa...can't think of anything else....maybe chimicharra sauce.

You are right about the soap taste. Neither Corey nor I will eat it for exactly that reason unless it’s in salsa or something else where you can’t pick it out. I know that there are substitutions for recipes out there, but I will usually just omit it.

There was a time not too long ago where restaurants around here were garnishing everything with it! I don’t know why.
