Sat down too hard and terrified of another concussion

Hi guys!

So it’s my first time posting in here but looking through these forums have helped me so much with my post concussion anxiety.
I got a concussion 8 months ago and finally have been fully recovered symptom free for about 2 months, with running being the only thing that brought my symptoms back.

But I’m here today to ask if it’s possible to get a concussion from sitting down to hard? Last night I was out with some friends and I sat down pretty hard on a wire chair with no cushion. It kind of felt like my brain boggled around a little which is what is scaring me. I woke up with some fogginess and dizziness so I’m naturally freaking out but also know it could just be anxiety. I have a party to go to today and really want to enjoy myself without anxiety weighing me down but don’t want to go if there is a possible concussion.

Has anyone had experience with this?

Thank you all so much

Not a concussion. Concussion Anxiety Syndrome.

I wonder if you are ready for the stimulation of a party?
