Caregiver seeking hope and answers saying Hi!
Wanted to check in and introduce "US". My fiance suffered her 9th concussion in Jan 2018 and it manifested into a TBI, being the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. After nearly a year of neuro-rehab, 80+ hours in HBOT, fighting Lyme disease and reactivated EBV in her brain, she regained around 90% of her abilities and memory but now is slipping backwards. I see evidence of CTE/TES, and it seems rather daunting... if not hopeless. Here to find answers if available and support for us both as doing what I am doing and being on the wrong end of her emotional destruction is the hardest thing I have ever done.

Hi LostInParadise
Welcome to NeuroTalk :). I am very sorry to read about your fiance. The TBI/PCS forum here is very active so I am sure that if you introduce yourself there you will get lots of support and good suggestions from other members. All the best. |
