Nerve pain everywhere

Hello. I am a 34 year old male, who's been suffering from nerve pain for the last ten months or so. It started with a freezing sensation on my stomach and right arm, and has since then gradually evolved to burning and then eventually also stinging some places. From being only on my right arm and stomach, it has spread to pretty much everywhere on my body. It has only gotten worse and worse, especially the last couple of months. The last couple of months it has been the most severe in my face, mouth and on my elbows. My face is burning, as is my mouth, but neither is very sore to the touch. My elbows sting every time I touch them or if textiles get in contact with them. If I press the elbows with my hand, it stings more. As I said, I have nerve problems pretty much everywhere, but those are the most severe things. I burn slightly on the trunk and arms and legs when in contact with my own skin or textiles.

Does anyone else relate to this? Does anyone else have stinging sensations on their elbows?

If anyone can relate to this, can you tell me how long you've been having these symptoms and how it has progressed? If not in thread, then in PM if you will.

I don't think I can PM you yet. PM me with an email address as I can relate.

Hey ohdeath,

I can relate a bit- as far as feeling it throughout your body and having it start with just sensory neuropathy—mine started more classically in hands and feet but over the course of three years spread everywhere. Mine did not start in elbows and stomach though—mine also started in 30s— it’s been three years and fear it just gets worse— but that may not be the case for u. It can be a host of things (autoimmune, metabolic, etc) - and if u can address the cause u have a better chance of dealing with it. Have u had any tests done? We’re u on medications? See a neurologist immediately and have them run tests. Also u may want to join Facebook groups with neuropathy, etc.. I prefer forums but for some reason this one is not as active as u might need to get some feedback and answers. Good luck and keep us posted.
