Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) Input

Has anyone tried Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for SFN?

If yes, did you find it beneficial and how did it help?

Thanks

My pain management Dr recommended I try it so I ordered but never took it. I was not ready to get off hydrocodone and lose pain relief that I know I could receive for something unknown. Sorry.

I tried LDN for arthritc issues and it helped the first day, then no more and I gave it 6 months as the people on the LDN group kept pushing me to stay with it. Huge constipation issues too.

On the hydrocodone, I took it a couple times in my life and could NOT wait to get off it..talk about side effects, omg, loss of appetite, fatigue, constipation. I find ibuprofen FOR ME does better than that other toxic drug. They are all toxic no matter what one thinks. And since using HGH homeopathic gel now into 8 months, I'm able to take 1 ibuprofen every 6 hours and find the nerve issues MUCH LESS overall.

These two slightly technical papers about LDN may help in this context.

Key is, if it works, that's great. I tried to get my sister who struggled with MS but she would not try it.
