Is a supplement break needed?

I've been taken these supplements for 3 months:

R-ALA
ALCAR
B1
B12

I remember to read in other thread here, time ago (I'm unable to find it) than some supplements require a break every 2 or 3 months. Maybe is a post from MrsD, but really I don't remember ...

Could you please confirm this?
