Hi my name is Robert I have had Classic Trigeminal Neuralgia now since 1977 I believe from a wisdom tooth removal in boot camp. Nice to have a place to go to and talk about this. I’ve had 3 different Rhizotomies and had my MVD in April of 2017 up until recently everything has been fine but now I feel like it’s coming back and I’m going see my neurosurgeon in October I might have Anastesia Dolorosa a d my primary doctor called me today and is going to do a blood test this Friday for Lupus has anyone developed Lupus from TN thanks in advance

Hi Robert

Welcome to NeuroTalk :).

If you haven't done so already the TN forum here is worth checking out.

SLE is an auto-immune disease. As far as I know there is no link between it and TN. Apart from blood tests you could also ask your doctor to refer you to a specialist clinical immunologist in this context.

All the best.
