CBD Oil for PN

I have been diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome in the form of Peripheral Neuropathy.
I have been living with it for quite a few years now.
Link to my original thread below.
I am considering trying some CBD Oil, for relief mainly.
As it is fairly expensive to obtain in New Zealand, I would appreciate feedback from anyone having tried it for the same or similar problem.
Thanks.

Iv tried cbd oil of various brands & To be honest i dont think cbd alone really works especially if you have a diagnosed disease ,but THC i think has worked well ..

Spent quite a few hours reading through the associated threads.
The opinion I formed was, CBD on it's own, may work for some but not all.
So the idea would be to get hold of a small amount & try it.
CBD can now be legally obtained in New Zealand by perscription only.
I'm told it's very expensive from local sources.
I need to find someone who uses it & already has a supply & buy a small amount from them.

I have small fiber neuropathy. I have found that CBD oil topically applied (I have it in a coconut oil balm) is helpful for me. However, since my neuropathy involves the nerves close to the skin, I think it may explain why I get relief from it. I am also taking gabapentin. The combination of the two things seems to work well for me.

Sound promising, I also take. Gabapentin (Amitriptyline)

Just an update on this.
I ran this idea past my Neurologist.
He is very familiar with my case & suggested I would be wasting my money.
So have flagged the idea for now

I agree, CBD "can be" beneficial to a degree for either anxiety or some measure of pain relief. But, the CBD needs to be very high potency, which translates into very expensive.

I recently spent 160 USD for 30ml of CBD oil; so far not seeing noticeable effect on either anxiety or pain.
