Face tingling leg tingling arm tingling ? Neuro cleared me? Help!

started with a physical therapist 6 months told me to stregthen core and gave me a simple program to follow not crazy lifts but lately I been getting BOTH LEFT ARM AND LEG tingling numbness with NO PAIN then few days later my cheecks and jaw line are tingling even tounge and scalp it varys and lessens and worssens throughout the day.... what could have happen I don't lift heavy and have been working on stregething program. went to hosptial and got cleared from ct scan and blood work for being NOT IN STROKE situation. but what could this be and is it fixable without surgrey

i also relize its been 12 weeks now any type of lifting makes me tingle all over.
neuro got me to do brain mri ..... got results written report says unremarkable.... guessing thats good?
now what? he said it isnt neck related? is this possible? or is he miscordinating ..... he said im MS FREE and it cant be neck related.... i do relize thou i wake up in morning sometimes with it.... and if i lift heavy bags with my arms i feel some type of shock through arm...... could this be related? any ideas?

Is a brain mri the only test that you have had done (cervical mri, emg, ncv, skin biopsy for checking the health of sensory small fibers )? Do you have any weakness in your limbs? Can you reliably reproduce the shock sensation in your arm (i.e. every time I do this movement I get the shock sensation)? How much numbness do you have? Did the neurologist give you any diagnosis?

With the extremely limited information here, I would guess that you have a neuropathy that is effecting sensory nerve fibers. More information has to be found to determine what is exactly going on and is there a treatable cause of your condition ( i.e. cervical spinal stenosis can be operated on, diabetic neuropathy can be treated by controlling blood glucose, etc.)

If the neurologist only gave you the info in your post, you need to go see another neurologist asap. You will definitely want to limit neurological damage as quickly as possible because recovery is often limited and your nerves are not quite the same.

Just did a cervical mri although he said its not neck related.
No diagonase. Brain mri read negative for ms and no pain . I can try to reproduce the shock feeling.... if lifting for example alot of groceries in one hand.... comes from formarm and elbow.... no limb issues no bone issues.....

Could the arm issues be due to repetitive/desk/computer/phone activities & got worse with the lifting?
Trigger points in muscles can cause some odd referred symptoms..something to look into..
Could be a soft tissue factor, many MDs overlook that option since it doesn't show up on a scan, or xray or blood work..

Are you still lifting therapy or did you stop to see if anything improves?

Yes stopped lifting been walking outside gor 1-1.5 hour a day..... to keep blood flowing ... if i lift my face gets crazy numb.... cardio makes legs numb.... very ockward

Hunched, rolled forward & head forward shoulders posture might fit also

If the things mentioned above might fit, you might want to explore our Thoracic Outlet Syndrome forum (TOS) for short..and the sticky threads there..
