Neuropathy after thyroidectomy
I have always had some raynauds in my hands and feet but nothing major. Since I had my thyroid removed I have gotten neuropathy in my hands and feet like they are about to fall asleep but never get there. It’s a constant feeling of pins and needles. I don’t know if it’s related to the raynauds or not. But it gets much worse with seasonal changes. I have gone to doctors and they have no idea what it is. I am not even sure what kind of doctor can help me. I am desperate at this point because my body feels heavy and it affects my mental state. I am so used to ignoring pain but it affects my mood. I have also had a hysterectomy so I don’t know if it’s the combo. But it started after my thyroid was removed.
