New here with a couple questions on sinus perforation
 

I had an infected tooth and started tasting and smelling something very foul. I went to the dentist and he said my tooth had punctured my sinus and that is what the smell/taste was. He pulled my tooth and did a bone graft 6 days ago. I have been on antibiotics and was told to take Sudafed every 4 hours. My questions are, how long will I taste/smell this nasty stuff? And, when should the pain be completely gone? He also said not to lift anything heavy for 2 weeks. If I am still smelling that smell after 2 weeks, is it ok to start lifting things again or do I wait until the smell is gone? Thank you for any advice.
