Hello Everyone! Hope all is well!
I was diagnosed with something called Arachnoiditus via MRI last week following 2 major spinal fusions last year and one epidural.
Quite frankly, I am freaked out and I don't know whether to contact attorneys, hunt down specialists to treat me or just keep on trucking... As long as I can hug my wife, granddaughter and my four grandsons I am ahead of the game...Thanks for allowing me to vent and have a good night everyone. |
Hi Absalom
Welcome to NeuroTalk :). I am sorry to read about your arachnoiditis. The information about it here may help you and the members of your family. Arachnoiditis | Genetic and Rare Diseases Information Center (GARD) – an NCATS Program All the best. |
Great attitude
Carpentry...Years of heavy lifting and being small boned & framed has taken its toll on my joints, especially low back sciatica nerve pinches down my leg.
You've got to be in worst pain than I and my heart goes out to you. Been doing some reading from Professor Google on back surgery which could be in my future also, and gotta say doesn't look good so far. Hope they figure something out by the time i'll be needing it. They seem to have knees and hips down pretty good, maybe backs will be next. Can't say I'd give any good advice on your direction, however very best of luck. |
