Growth Hormone Deficient
My growth hormone stim test results came back today, and I am deficient!
My initial hypothesis of testosterone was wrong, and my claim that it reduced my head sensitivity was also wrong. What most likely was occurring was the extra testosterone blunted the symptoms of the concussions. I highly suggest all of you to look into a growth hormone stim test, as this could be the underlying cause of your PCS. Symptoms I had: -Intense depersonalization/derealization -Brain fog -Memory problems -Depression -Cold and heat sensitivity -Intense thirst and frequent urination after consuming high-sugar foods -Head sensitivity to concussions -Dry skin -Carpal tunnel and joint problems from playing piano -Blurry vision -Sleep difficulty. Sleeping more worsened my cognitive skills while sleeping less improved them. -Fatigue -Lack of motivation Forum members Esthersdoll, Todayistomorrow, and Patriotic American have more experience with growth hormone treatment. |
I had no tests done but have done a LOT of research on Human Growth Hormone and and have been using a Homeopathic HGH gel for 13 months now. I'm 81, and daughter is using it about 16 months. Our growth hormone starts dropping at about 30 yrs old. We both have appreciated many changes in so much of our lives. She's 56.
I have quite a few HGH posts all over NeuroTalk. Check them out. And love the fact we use a homeopathic and for sure NO SIDE EFFECTS.. |
Also, IGF-1 is not a reliable predictor of growth hormone deficiency, especially in TBI cases. My level was 292 ng/mL, and the deficient level is <209. Additionally, I solely had mild concussions without losing consciousness.
You either need a glucagon stim test or an insulin tolerance test to accurately get diagnosed. For me, it was extremely hard to get an endocrinologist to perform the test on me. You should find and endo that has experience in TBI and hormones. I believe hormone replacement therapy will eradicate my head sensitivity as the onset of my other symptoms coincides exactly with the head sensitivity. I will post updates on this in the future. What does the course of increasing the levels look like?
Supplements? Foods? Prescriptions? Exercise? Thanks, -J |
My growth levels are increasing due to my using a homeopathic HGH gel for 13 months now and I'm 81. Daughter is 56 and she's using it over 16 months.
Sleep is #1 Major Improvement EVERYONE using the gel reports. I take 1/2 thyroid support now. I take 1/2 pain med dose now. I still have no wrinkles at my age...face is smooth. Just overall boost in Well Being is what we all experience. Daughter's long time anemia has reversed, Docs are stunned. JBuckl -- The product we use is rubbed into thin areas designated inn our skin... I think this is what you are asking--- what form raises HGH. Sleep does too and so many don't get quality sleep. c |

On how to increase growth hormone, others mention aggressive cardio workouts, I never did aggressive workouts and no way at this time in my life. Too much aggression can damage us more.

Kiwi, no testing. Aging and damage says it all. And what we are feeling and 1000's of others using the gel is enough testimonial for me/us. Proof is in the pudding so to speak. How we feel is #1. Sleeping big #1.

I think of thoughts to add here and have to re-post as I can't edit my posts. The HGH we are using is a microdosing and homeopathic so no fear of any side effects. No one will understand it all unless they are in it. And grasp homeopathy as well.

Caroline do please note that people with specific illnesses or conditions may not be able to just take supplements that others who do not have their issues may be ok on.
It's really important to remind everyone of that. Even "all natural" supplements or other nutritional products, and homeopathics, do not always have positive effects in everyone. That is why there are always cautions to check for possible listed interactions with medications or even other supplements etc. We understand the desire to be helpful, and that is to be commended, but when one does not have the illness or condition then caution in making recommendations is a good idea. |
