CogitiveFX versus Myoworx

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has had a recent experience with either of the above clinics. Am 2.5 years PCS. My major complaints are headache, dizziness, brain fog and issues with my short term memory. Am getting to the end of my rope and am frustrated with the inconsistent information out there!
Thanks

Myoworx is a physical therapy based protocol that focuses on upper neck issues. There are valid needs to address upper neck issues.

Cog FX is an fMRI directed cognitive therapy program. It is a $7-10,000 gamble. It helps some but not others.

A third protocol is Carrick Clinic diagnostics and therapy.

All three are cash paid protocols with little or no insurance coverage,

You say what your symptoms are but you do not say what you have done to try to improve. Better understanding of your symptoms can be helpful.

Thanks Mark,
So far, I have tried vestibular physio, vision therapy, acupuncture,, chiropractic, massage and have been followed by a neurologist (I’ve probably tried about 15 different prescriptions but nothing so far is working) am just looking for what my next step should be as I’ve recently had to go off work due to my symptoms.

Some things to websearch if you haven't found yet.
Upper cervical adjusting
Soft tissue /neck care/whiplash effect depending on how head was impacted..
Trigger points

PCCE,

If you would tell us what your symptoms are and what kind of work you do, maybe we could help.

I don't understand how symptoms can cause you to stop working 2.5 years after your injury. Are your symptoms getting worse?

So,
What symptoms?
How do they stop you from working?
What changes have you made to your daily life to moderate your symptoms?

How is your sleep?

What meds have you tried?
What symptoms were you trying to treat with them?

What pre-existing medical and psychological conditions did you have prior to your injury?

How were you injured?
What immediate symptoms?
Have any symptoms resolved?

What are your life stress levels like?

Neuros are usually a total waste of time.
