Morning all!
Sorry for my absence yesterday but I was in a bad way. I stayed home from work for one. Not something I wanted to do not even a month into working this job.
You all know about how my back acted up this past weekend, but early yesterday morning I woke up and felt like I was going to be sick. I knew what it was from, trigger points from my back affecting my nerves around my stomach, but there was nothing I could do about it until I saw the pain doc later in the morning.
Luckily the cortisone shots worked and I felt better immediately and here I am back at work today.
I just feel so guilty for being out so soon.

Please don't be so hard on yourself....you can't help the fact that you were in pain.
I hope that you continue to get relief from this shot.

Just a Hello to all.

was called away due to a urgent family emergency in another state for the last week and a half.
BIL had terminal cancer {lungs/liver} -
{quick moving or he ignored it until it was to late for any treatment}
-he passed away at a friends home - peacefully it seemed, like falling asleep.
Just wanted to let you know where I have been.


These situations - it really opens your eyes to getting a will or a trust set up as well as any final wishes in writing -and getting all finances and papers in order. His were not.
So I'm going to be working on those things I did some of mine last night.

Quicken has a prg that you can download called Will Maker - I'm sure there are other prgs out there too, but I had just bought Quicken Deluxe 2007 in February and the Will Maker prg comes with it as a free download.
So far it seems very easy to use and you can add comments and detailed wishes as you go along.

It's good to be back home.

Jo, I know what you mean about lung cancer. My hubby had it, plus it was in several places when he died. I feel he went peaceful too! He was on lots of meds though so don't know if it would have went peaceful without them. He did have Hospice Care and that meant a lot, for I was worn out.

I start my new job tomorrow with Hospice. I have to go see a man and takecare of him a short time. Then I have to go to Terre Haute to get a Hepatitis B shot, my second one.

It is so hot today, but there is a breeze. I'm not going out unless I have to tho. I think it was suppose to reach 100 again today, then rain. I'm doing a wash then maybe write a couple letters.

Hi, I'm in the thick of a mad world of the idiot husband. He waits till august to do taxes. He files a extension and then waits till now to do them.

He is now doing them. Of course this drives us all around him batty. On top of this, I'm going through health issues. And then trying my best to stay on a diet. WEll then I find out this week that the refrigerator is going out.

Um, its completely gone.


So now there goes all my diet food. Well thats a slight exagerration.
But all my fruit is gone, and all my meat is gone. And all my hmmm, milk
is gone.

And I had just finished my bread.

Ugh.

Just is life.

sorry about your refridgerator going out. Our home owners policy may cover the food loss, you may want to look into it.
Hate it when anything mechanical happens...we don't know a thing about fixing up stuff. so dependant on others.
so glad that my ac unit is working jsut fine for these hot days of summer.
