Sirenita48,

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

Concussions often include a neck injury. Icing your neck can be helpful.

You can make your own crush-able icebags. Mix 1 cup of rubbing/isopropyl alcohol with 2 cups water. Put it in a freezer zip lock bag and squeeze most of the air out. Freeze it. When frozen, it will crush a mold to any shape.

How to Make Your Own Gel Ice Pack or Moist Heat Pack

Neck inflammation can contribute to dizziness.

Explore the sticky threads above on the PCS main page & reading other posts for ideas and information is very helpful..

Can you give a bit more information on how you got your concussion?
Frontal hit, back of head, top of head , side hit?
But most of those with force can cause added neck injury & soft tissue injury..
