Sharing a bed

Share a bed with my partner - they turned over and whacked me on the head with their arm when i was sleeping and it woke me up. I have no way or knowing how hard it was bc i was sleeping but remember it feeling like a lot of force. I have symptoms flaring now but can’t tell if it’s anxiety or something to worry about

Does anyone else get hit or bumped when sleeping w their partner and how do you deal with it

hey jess!

i think if it was a hard hit, any very serious problems probably would have been apparent right away.

periods of anxiety sometimes make me hyper-aware of little aches and pains or a change in some aspect of my bodily functions. i don't know what other illnesses you have, but if you do, it could be a flare. i empathize with your anxiety problem.

i have never been hit by my partner while sleeping, but one time my husband rolled over and bumped me and i fell out of bed. i feel unintentional hits and bumps just have to be forgiven. maybe a bigger bed (if you have the space), might be a solution.

Why would you feel a need to worry?

Do you think you will reach a threshold of head bumps that turn you into a drooling demented person?

Did the other person hurt their arm?
