David P

I am new to this forum as I have a new post operative c-5 bilateral palsey. My right arm worse than left. It is a career ending and life altering complication. 60 days out of surgery with no change or signs of improvement. Does anyone have similar story and can share outcome?

Hi David P,
I hope you'll find some answers here.

It sounds as if you've discussed this with the doctors in charge of your case--and have they concluded anything about possible remedies?

Might it be one of those post-surgical outcomes that do go away with time--even if it's a long time?

Could there be a chance of another cause or secondary factors?
Arm symptoms can also be caused by repetitive motion injury, poor head, neck, shoulders posture.
Trigger points in scalenes, or upper back muscles can refer pain and symptoms.
Our Thoracic outlet syndrome forum sticky threads has more info if those might be possible.
