Pain in the foot
I have diabetic neuropathy. I've had it for years on a pain level from 1 to 5 periodically. I have a new pain that is on the pain level of 8 to 10. It is in a new place on one foot, under the toes that I had surgery going on 3 years ago. I am using a natural jell and a prescribed medication, neither has helped for 2 days. Any one have any suggestions that maybe helpful? Thanks :o

Gotta keep trying new topicals, two of my favorites are Topricin and Ultra Tiger Balm, these are the 2 I alternate on my feet nightly and mornings. And keep bending the toes, push thru some pain there, loosen joints up.

Hi Charlie2, and welcome!
:welcome_sign: I have some diabetic neuropathy issues but so far haven't had any foot surgery. You indicate that the pain is in the region where you had the toe surgery. Have you been to the doctor who did the surgery about this? It's possible that your pain problem is related to the surgery. There may be scar tissue that has formed, for instance. There are recommended ways of dealing with quite a few post-surgical problems but your doctor would be the best guide on this. I hope you can find a way to get rid of the pain. |
Get any new pain checked out.. maybe a PT or chiropractic evaluation...
my chiro had a low level laser (also called cold or soft laser) that really helped for acute pain areas.. |
Ive been using a arthritis roll on with 4% lidocaine.. seems to help

Hi Charlie 2.
Welcome :). Talking with the surgeon who did the surgery on your foot would be a good plan. Best wishes. |
Mums developed a pain similar, useful thread thanks.
