What to do right after amalgam removal to prevent damage by mercury
 

Hi. I had a composite filling. 2.5 months ago it fell out & I had it replaced by amalgam (was straight up lied to about it). The dental work was messed up too (couldn't floss, the teeth started hurting, apparently decay developed under the amalgam). Yesterday, I had it removed at a different dentist's. I found them by their mentioning using the IAOMT protocol. In the dentist office they told me they don't do the full thing (just some protective measures like suction, cooling, a dental dam, but not the air into your nose thing or the huge vacuum or charcoal rinses). I went with it anyway and I'm kind happy with the work.

Today I'm curious if there's anything I can do right now to limit bio-accumulation of the mercury I was exposed to during the removal yesterday (like I think I might have swallowed some particulate).

It would be really helpful if you could point me to some materials on what to do next and some research that backs that up.

I thought the followup would be the easy part--initially it seemed to be about eating a lot of sulphur and fiber-containing foods, garlic, chlorella, cilantro, vitamins, minerals etc. But now I'm finding conflicting information (Andy Cutler Chelation: Safe Mercury and Heavy Metal Detox) that says these are bad and can flush mercury into your brain which is something I'm mainly trying to avoid. So I'm kind of lost. :D Thanks.

Your cited Facebook reference does not look reliable. Facebook is not high on my list of reliable sources of reliable information.
