Happy Spring day, and Easter

Hey everyone, It finally looks like its spring again here.

I've been down under in the weather. But finally feel better today.
Just my luck I hope it continues so I can eat what Derrick is cooking
today. And enjoy his company today and the rest till I take him home.

Its been a good few days. We will tale later. Have a great day.

Glad that you are feeling better enjoy derricks cooking what did he fix?
Jeff cooked us scrambled eggs, we were not quite sure when we are eating over at pauls he is cooking on the grill kabobs. he is celebrating lent being over because he gives up drinking for lent. so he performed 4 masses where he played his trumpet. so he got home around noon and started drinking. I hope he is not already drunk when we get there. He is episcopal.
Rob and his wife terry will be there and his colleague may come later. Jeff put together a big fruit salad with fresh organic strawberries, blue berries, raspberries and pineapple. It looks very good!
happy easter y,all...to those who celebrate.

lots of love today.

Derrick made hamburger helper, cheeseburger kind. We had hawaiin rolls,
salad with hamburger and sausage, his dad and Dan both loved that.

He made me some bananas and apples, and his dad, dan and him apple,
grapes and banana kabobs. There were a couple other things, not sure
what all.

Yes, everyone enjoyed the food.

Enough left for leftovers too. So lots of food for the next day or two.

We are chilling pretty much, I take him home tomorrow.

And we will shop for him some keto foods.

Ugh, I am out of my depth with that.

Yes, I was so proud of him at the o'charlies steak house tonight
he had a steak and chicken strips, and broccoli, salad.

His favorite is 2 baked potatoes. But not even one. He even told me
I could get the piece of pie.

We both had a good meal, I got a salad, and mac and cheese. I love
the baked potatoes but I just couldn't do that to him today.

We got his YMCA membership. And groceries for keto diet.

Okay I had tried to send an email to the supervisor over the person who
does Derrick's program last week. When I got sick. It wouldn't go, because
it didn't like my email. It didn't sound real good. So I let it go.

Last night I started over and got a real good email going, and sent it correctly.
I received a reply she is looking into things. I remembered some more things
tonight I've been wondering about. But don't bother asking the girl who
runs his program because it just gets brushed off. So tonight I sent yet another
email asking about that stuff. Just because it would really help his health
and keep depression away.

thanks Bizi

Lots of the reason I can do this is because I am encouraged and praised by you ladies which I really appreciate.

I'm so glad I sent that email last night. I think when things work out he will
get the cooking classes soon. Its only been I think 2 years since we started
working to get this. Just sent the right person a request. The other two classes
aren't going on right now. I also heard his VOc. reh. goals were changed one is
something I love. His job coach is going to help with exercise and walking or
maybe take him to the YMCA once a week. This will help so much.

Of course I got a email, that was kind of negative from his main person that
says, because of staffing we can't do 3 times a week. No one was asking her
to. I said, I was working to find a way too. I was hoping she would help
maybe 1 or maybe at some point 2 a week. But she came back negative
again. Then said, I know the girl that comes does his grocery shopping I'll see
if maybe they can add this. Well I know he needs to concentrate on the grocery shopping if necessary so if they can't I'm fine with that. So I told her.
