SCS from Boston Scientific- Has anyone tried it
I have idiopathic neuropathy. First visit with a pain management specialist he wanted to implant this nerve stimulator, I hadn't spoke with him for more than 5 minutes before he brought it up.

There are past posts on a few of our forum topics here, you can do a search to find those. Our search does require 4 letters or more - SCS simulator - should work.
There are also related threads at the bottom of the page that might be helpful. I would be concerned when something like that is mentioned so soon. |
I didn't know anything about Boston Scientific and looked it up. Just from glancing over its leadership, I'd say that the people in charge don't have much medical background. They're more business-related.
I think I'd want to deal with a place where the people had more medical training. I hope that this place isn't just trying to sell you a device. |
Just letting you know that there is a subforum here under the Medications and Treatments Forum named
SCS and Pain Pumps Forum It's not busy these days but you might find information there that is helpful. |

OP, there is SO MUCH we can do to reduce Neuropathy, any type. I truly believe the Grape Seed Extract I've been taking for years helps me in that area. And also Inosine has helped me a lot. I've posted a lot about neuroprathy and the NP area. So much info there.
