Like I said, I'm new here. I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 2015. Specifically, I have Anti-MuSk antibody positive generalized myasthenia gravis.
Through a serious of misfortunate events. it took me what seemed like forever to be diagnosed (just like most of us), but it was probably about a year and a half from first symptom to positive blood work and formal diagnosis.

I also have Meniere's disease, because autoimmune diseases like the buddy system.

Here's some general MG info about me:

• I've experienced one severe myasthenic crisis in the past that required being intubated and a ventilator for nine days

• I've had two series? (whatever you call it! )of plasma exchange in the past

• I have tried IVIG infusions but was unable to tolerate the side effects.

• I take Cellcept (mycophenolate) and Mestinon(pyridostigmine) to keep things under control.

• Technically, and am in "pharmacologic remission" according to my neuro, although I still have some fairly manageable symptoms.

I just got my third dose of Moderna CoVid vaccine four days ago.

I would like to get to know other MG people and share ideas that have helped me and would appreciate the same from others
The isolation from the pandemic is starting to get to me.

Too bad you've been hit with Meniere's disease as well as the MG. Managing the symptoms must be a challenge.
