Dental work with RSD/CRPS -what blocks

Hi. I have a crowned root canal tooth holding on a 5 piece bridge. There is some black spots on the tooth #13 that needs to be drilled.
I have an endo to do blocks, but he is only going to numb an area. I am thinking I need a paletine block.. ..?? Help please

No help from me, but if you are still in a quandary, work toward a consult with an alternative/holistic dentist. One who I believe would work to do less invasive work.
