chronic fatigue
Does anyone know anything about being tired all the time? I have been diagnosed with a type of periferal neuropathyand I feel exhausted all the time. It is very difficult for me to walk downstairs because my legs are so weak.

Well, peripheral neuropathy--
--can certainly lead to fatigue, especially if motor neurons are involved; it just takes that much more effort to overcome the scrambled nerve signalling and make the muscles do anything.
Welcome to the boards--and specifically, if you want to come visit the neuropathy section here (lot of nice people and expertise) just jump to this link: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20 |
Hi Credo...welcome to NeuroTalk. Here is the link to the PN forum.
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php? I'm sure you've find support from the nice members there. |
Welcome credo :)
I have PN, but there isn't anything that can be done about my type due to hereditary illness, so I rarely post in the PN forum. :o It took a long time, but I just let strangers laugh at the way I walk. I let them laugh at my pain. Have no choice there either because I can no longer kick their butts. :D I'm sure you'll find some real gems in the PN forum, even though they walk kinda funny. :D |
Hi Credo and welcome. You'll find everyone here very caring and supportive (and some just plain goofy). :)
Feeling exhausted all the time just plain sucks, no matter what the reason. |
