Osseous surgery

Hi All,
Hope all is well and have minimal pain! Sorry I have not regularly come to this board as my RSD pain becomes manageable.
I need to do a gum surgery and bone graft to further deep clean the pocket and regenerate bone growth. Have anyone done something similar in the past? Did it flare up your RSD pain? Do I need some preemptive drugs to reduce/minimize flare ups?
Please advise and thanks.
