New May and Summer Thread
 

Hi I'm starting a thread for Summer. I will be gone for awhile this
weekend and next week. But will check in when I can.

But it will be a good time. Heehee. Its called the fun of visiting
and trying to get things done. I'm going to visit my family in Oxford
and see if I can get some things done.

But then I'll be back in Lafayette and hopefully it will be better weather.


We will see.

we have festival this weekend. Jeffs playing in a latin band the singer sings in spanish and calls her self melantina that should be fun to watch.
he then plays with group in jazz fest in new orleans.
I have to go to bed I am tired.

Weather is still a little cold. I haven't seen too many people but I have
been helping Dale work on the house. Trying to clean it a little.

Its been a nice quiet weekend. Its going to be a nice beginning of
the week too.

We had 60's yesterday for the festival and it sprinkled off and on.
Today was gorgeous, clear blue skies temp 70's just a delight to see the festival.It is over now great times !

Well tomorrow I am going into town with Dale to watch him give Derrick his
shot then we will go out to eat.

Then on THursday I will go to a conference out at the jr/Sr high school.

Then on Friday I'm going to help set up Harmony's 1st grade year.

I'm working to set up for her to go to the 1st grade classroom, and have
mainly just mostly the resource for reading as much as she needs.
Especially since she still at this point mainly echo's to talk. So I'm not
sure how much reading she is going to be able to do.

So we will have to see what exactly that will look like. She was
in the special needs skills classroom / kindergarten this year.
And started spending more and more time in the regular kindergarten
classroom.

So were hoping just kindergarten with some resource will be good next
year.

I forgot to tell everyone that Dale took Meluvja to the High School,
for a meeting. She told him that She has gotten him into the
building trades class next year.

So Dale is very happy technically I am too.

Well I hurt my pride when i was getting out of Dale's car yesterday i tripped
over my purse handle. And hurt my rearend. i didn't realize it till today
though. When I got up to pain. Its okay, I'm taking ibprofen for the pain.

And using my cane from my mom. Because at times my leg about
goes under on me.

is the leg giving out on you from the fall or it has happened before?
