Conservative Treatment for TOS with Cervical Ribs

Has anyone been successful in treating TOS conservatively with cervical ribs? I have a fully formed cervical rib on the left side and partially formed one on the right. I’ve been dealing with minor to moderate nerve pain in arms, neck and shoulder for a few years, and Ultrasound shows that my vein and artery get compressed when my left arm is lifted (but no thrombosis, clotting, swelling, discoloration, or other vascular issues). I’ve been doing physical therapy, chiro, stretching, breath-work, etc. for a few months and I feel like I’ve seen some improvement.

I think I remember reading somewhere that about 25% of Dean Donahue’s patients with cervical ribs recover with conservative treatment (greater than 50% improvement with no surgery), so I’m hopeful I can avoid surgery. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Also does anyone know of good TOS doctors in Oregon or Washington?

Hi Eve's Rib
There's a pinned aka "sticky" thread above here that lists TOS doctors, in some posts by state, so maybe that will help you find a doctor in OR or WA?
Here's the link DOCTORS & PTs List and saved PT info threads
