This brain-computer interface (BCI) is less invasive than the Utah array . . . will it be as effective?

Dangerous tech

This technolog can be abused if it got into the wrong hands ok it help somebody that cannot talk but you have to think of the long term implications what with all the evil going on in the world one cannot afford too take the risks involved

I think this one is less risky than the Utah array, however, neither have reports of serious injury and, as far as I know, none of the patients have expressed regrets for participating in the research.

Each connector in the Utah array has a hundred contacts, some patients were shown with four Utah array implants in place. The Neuralink chip uses one connector with 1024 contacts, possibly making it more fault tolerant.

We will see how this plays out.
