NeuroTalk Support Groups - Looking for information for my dad

Hi. My dad was diagnosed with gMG and Parkinson's in 2023. He's been on Mestinon, Prednisone, and Cellcept. He is not being treated for Parkinson's as he is also bipolar and those medications cobtraindicate with Parkinson's meds.

He is 80 years old and the current treatment plan isn't working well. He's had 2 MG crisis and he had IVIG when those occurred.

Now his neuro is recommending Soliris and he's on the fence.

His neuro group (Northwestern) is great but they are under resourced and their general answer when he's not doing well is to take him to the ER.

He's defeated and doesn't think anything or anybody wants to help him. I'm looking for cesources to try to support him. He always told me he wants to live until he's 90 - I'd like to support him and help him meet his goal.
