My mom is still in the hospital ......
 

Hi,
No real results yet. The cat scan showed nothing. They did the echo-gram of the heart, don't have the results yet. Today they are doing a MRI of the brain, which will show more.

It's the weekend, so it's to be expected things don't move quickly.

She has a regular MD, her cardiologist and neurologist all working together.

So once all the results are in and the Doctor's get it all together I will get some confirmed results. I assume that will be tomorrow (Monday).

She isn't sleeping, she is kind of wacky when talking. She is eating some.

I'll keep you posted. She has a sitter in her room, because she is taking off her moniter things and all. She is acting really silly and talking up a storm about anything, not making sense.

I know how hard it is to leave her. But since she has a sitter in her room.

Then do me a favor go home and get some rest. If nothing else go home and try and rest. Maybe if nothing else see if Dirk would come stay in your place because she is used to him too.

This way she will feel that someone is still there. You really need to take some time to take care of yourself too.

Even if it is hard to do that.

Maybe take a relaxing bubble bath. And just sit and relax at home.

You can always return to the hospital in a few hours and start again.

Hi all - well the echo gram of the heart came back good. Yesterday they did another procedure with putting a camera down to see her heart, don't have the results of that.

Waiting for the MRI to be rescheduled with sedation.

My mom is just sleeping now a lot.

She does have a bladder infection and on anti-biotics for it.

It's so sad to just see her laying there.

Still don't know exactly what happened.

And honestly the sleeping is good for her.

I would say that she is finally getting some rest from being
exhausted. And she probably has finally relaxed enough.

Just feels more at home there.

So don't let it get to you okay.
