Sore Throat

I was diagnosed with fibro 4 years ago. Now I have had a sore throat (there is no redness) for over a week. Is this a symptom of fibro or am I looking at CFS???

Thanks,
Nancy

Nancy....yes I get those every once in a while. I think its the neck muscles that cause that. The same area when you get a nose that doesn't stop running....or is that just me?:D I gotta look in my Devin Starlanyl book to check on the muscle structure of the neck to be sure, but I am at work so I can't right now.
I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks

Wendy - I do have the runny nose symptom. This throat thing feels like strep but, like I said, no fever, no redness or white spots. Do you have CFS as well as FMS?

Hi Nancy...another Nancy here. I definitely have CFS and FMS. And yes, I get sore throats routinely but I didn't relate them to the FMS until this past year.

However...mine don't last that long normally. It doesn't hurt to have it checked out.

I also used to go to the doctor over and over and over again for a sore throat and ear. He would give me medicines saying my inner ear looked like it might be problematic. Just found out this past year.

But yeah, along with Wendy, I'm one of those that gets frequent sore throats. I even at the same time feel like I'm coming down with a flu. And as quickly as it comes, it goes. Perhaps 2-3 days tops.

Isn't this stuff just too much fun!?

How wierd is this??? I have another sore throat, too. I just had one in June.... I have never given my FM a thought about being the possible culprit...

Nancy to answer your question I am not sure if I have CFS. But I wouldn't be surprised if I do.:D
