question....

hello,

Can anyone explain to me how to post a link from one web site to another? Would very much appreciate it:D

Thanks a bunch,
Jen

Jen,

When posting a new thread or message, place your mouse cursor over the icon that appears as a small globe with a chain beneath it; it's next to (or directly to the left) the one with a red "x" through it.

A window will, then, appear that prompts you to enter the URL or link you want to include.

Thanks for your response but I'm afraid I don't get it:confused: jen

jenny,

do you know how to highlight, copy and paste?

i can walk you through this.

when you open the Reply to Thread box, there is a little tool bar above the box you type your reply into.

this is the little globe with paper clip bobbi was refering to.

you can click that and enter the url you want to post.

or you can click on the url when you have that page or site open. it should highlight it. right click. hit copy.

then on the reply box, right click, hit paste.

Jen, when you go to start a new thread or reply to a post, look above the area where you'd type your message.

Do you see the white smiley face icon? The icon needed for creating a link is directly below the small, white smiley face. It's a blue globe with a small two-link chain.

If you type text you want to link to another site, run your mouse over the text to highlight it and, then, click the globe icon. That's when the small window will appear prompting you to insert the link you want included.

Another option is copy/paste a URL from your browser, when it's on the page you want to link to and then copy/paste that URL into your message.
