Stress!
Ah stress...I love those lovely letters from insurance companies...the ones where they tell you they aren't on your side...yup makes my steress levels go up...which causes my pain to go crazy...yup...that's where I am right now. Thankfully I have a massage in an hour...
So how do us TOSers deal with the bad news, have the strength to fight and keep our pain levels down??? That's my question of the day! Hope everyone is keeping the pain monster away... |
Stress
I am feeling a bit of insurance stress as well. The denied the MRA of the thorasic area my Vascular Surgon ordered....medically not necessary even with 18 months of TOS pain and neck throbbing.
I was considering the botox injections to find out they will only cover 1/7 of what the specialist (out of network) is charging. |
Quite frankly it sucks. And these denials just make it harder. But I am sure perserverance will pay off. I had some time just to mull it over and am prepared to go at it with a new found strength.
Question - LAarchitect, does that refer to where you are (LA?) or your profession??? |
try filing an appeal. get familiar with your insurance authorization dept. make a friend of someone in the dept. keep at it!

me too
dealing with it is very difficult. I hate them and they push and push until you give up but the secret is to say bu@@er them and do your own thing and work hard to get them back and get them the evidence from your doctors notes and send them in a thousand times if you have to and do what I did to get cpp send a 12 page letter explaining how poopy your life is due to tos and the pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
secret is to NEVER GIVE UP so don't let them win!!! or at least that is what I do! love and hugs, Victoria |
