Looking for help

This is the first time I have joined a forum. It is all new to me. I was diagnosed with Parkinsons a little over a year ago. I am taking Carbidopa/Lev and Neurontin but just keep getting worse. I was wondering if there are supplements, diets, exercise or therapies that could help me? I am still mobile, but the stiffness is moving up my legs. I do not visually shake much but I feel shaky inside. I also have alot of stiffness in my left hand. Thank you for any suggestions.
Mike

Hi Mike and Welcome to NT. You'll have to go to the Parkinson's forum, as there's alot of nice people there that can answer your questions.

Sorry about your DX, but glad you found us... :welcome_sign:

Hi Mike,

I'm so glad you've joined the forum. I think you will find a lot of information here, and people who are supportive.

In terms of you Parkinsons getting worse, when I had tetanus, which is a central nervous system disease, I found that the more stressed I was the worse the symptoms.

If you can rest a lot, I think you will find it helps.

The other thing that really helped me, was having A LOT of B12. It made a huge difference, though it by no means got rid of the tetanus.
