Nervous about an upcoming inspection

Man I am just so worried about it, I have trouble keeping clothes in the dressers because Jackie yanks them all out and we have a pile of laundry in the room, it's such a PITA with him. I am so anxious about this darn inspection we just learned about yesterday, that is NEXT friday. I wish that it was already over with, it's just bothering me something fierce. And then Jackie has broken the two anchor bolts and the bloody ring on the concrete under the toilet in the master bathroom. I am really worried about it and now it's leaking. I just could scream! He comes at me when I am on it and pushes my chair against my leg trying to knock me over. And no, I can't close the darn door.

It sucks to be me, really it does. I have a lot of good things that have happened this past August like the car and getting in this place in June but Jackie is just so mean at times, I mean it's really ridiculous, but I might have to lock him out of the bedroom and go to the bathroom, it's ridiculous but maybe that is what it's going to take to keep him from breaking this toilet again once it's been fixed again. He already broke it once, so I am worried they are going to say something about having to fix this again. It's just so annoying to have this big bull of a kid pushing my chair at me laughing thinking he's being funny when he's about to knock me off the darn toilet. Just STUPID...

I needed to vent, thanks for listening everyone. I have been whinning a lot lately, I'm sorry. :( I just feel so helpless to DO anything about this big bull of a kid. :(

Dear Pamster,
I have no clue what to do with your sweetie....
Is there any medication to perhaps calm him down?
Can I ask you what do you think his age is mentally?
or with autism you can't look at it that way?
why can't you lock the door behind you?
Please go ahead and vent !!!that is what we are here for....
((((HUGS))))

Dear Pam,
Please vent.
Complain. We are not your RL family. You don't have to keep up a pleasant front for us.

What are they inspecting?
You prob don't have to worry about the laundry and such.
When we get an inspection notice I freak out too. It is normal to feel that way about someone coming into your place.

And I have no idea what they are looking for. Maybe I should ask. At the old apt, they would periodically inspect for structural issues or water damage or such. Maybe they look for things like evidence of extra people or pets not on the lease?

And yeah, our toilet needed a new bolt recently. Sometimes the toilets do that and start leaking all by themselves with just normal wear and tear. So to have the toilet repaired twice is only one more time beyond normal wear and tear. ;) Anyway, get them to fix it. They would rather fix it than deal with the resultant water damage.

And yes, close that bed room door. I'm sorry to hear that you don't get privacy. Is that how your whole day is?? No wonder you sound like you have long tough days.
You are strong. If someone tried to push me off the toilet, they might succeed.

Thanks bizi & Mari, I do need to vent. They ARE looking at housekeeping issues so my stupid laundry problem is going to be a big problem. I am going to spend the day trying to put it all away which totally angers me because of how it gets like this to begin with. I love my son but he really can tick me off with how he likes to go through my clothes and try on my stuff. And then he rips all the buttons off shirts by ripping it off himself. I have given up on having anything nice you know? I have my old prom dress and he ruined the pretty ruffled jacket that went with it and it really depressed me.

It's not fair and I hate it.I'd put his age mentally at around 5. Sometimes less then that when he's not listening. Got up this morning and there was almost water to the carpet, I think it's because the toilet is moving around. I don't know what to do, but if they fix it and don't charge us I will be relieved, but I doubt that is going to happen. It's a nice place but it's so much work to keep up on. I have to clean the kitchen, and the bedroom today because when they come to change the air filter I want the handy man to look at the toilet and so the clothes issue needs dealt with.

The darn Dell hasn't been delivered yet so I am still on this old system and hate it! They didn't address the darn package properly at Dell and so it's sat for two days in a Fed Ex facility when it should have been delivered yesterday because I called, my mom called and even Dell called them with the address. It's ridiculous and Jack and I are wondering if someone stole the computer and all we're going to get is an empty box, if it's not 26 lbs we're not accepting it. :( It shows it's on the truck for delivery today so it better show up today. I wish I could go on and on saying I had a great day yesterday or that I expect a great day today but I don't. :(

*sigh*

Thanks for listening, I needed to vent again. :(

The dell got here and is working great for my other half, should have his system set up by the weekend's end. I cleaned up the bedroom and got ALL THE clothes PUT away so I am not feeling as anxious. Still worried about the toilet, but we'll see. I just hope he can help STOP it from leaking anymore, I am getting sick of having a wet floor in there, not that I stand up on it much, it's a small bathroom, but still, I am worried about it being a problem and getting the carpet wet. THat would be very bad, and that I am anxious about. I am going to be anxious about that until he's been back to fix it next week. Thanks for listening everyone. Thanks Nikko for the hugs. :D

On the new system and hubby was such a bonehead about setting it up. I had to take a darn lorazepam to get over the anxiety he was purposely putting me through over nothing, just for his entertainment. I love this big lug but get so tired of him jerking me around like a rag doll...ARGH! SO that is why I have the angry mood indicator for the moment. :( He thinks it's all one big joke, I wish I could have him go with me to a T appt, I am going to have to talk to him more about this, it's just not fair to be messing with me like this just because he's bored and didn't want to give up the tower I am now using. :(

Pamster 09-07-2007 08:09 PM

SO now it's Jackie's turn to drive me up a wall. Lord, he just had to have these HOT HOT blue nylon pants I had to find for him. I swear he's going to pull out all of the clothes I put away and it's really making me furious. I wish I could just relax about this but the guy never showed for the toilet, and he turned off the water which is fine I guess, so we're down to one bathroom. *sigh* I guess it's okay for one weekend. But Jackie is really bothering me. :(

I know he should it's really a darn shame we have to go through this together, I have visions of him at 18 doing it still. *sigh* I hope I'm wrong about that. :p The inspection has doubled now, they said they are coming in Thrusday to make sure everything will pass and then the real inspection on Friday. It's enough to make me want to scream I tell you what. *screams* I don't know what to do other then TRY to keep Jackie from yanking everything out of the drawers in the three dressers.

Thanks again for the hugs, I needed some TLC. :(
