My procedure date was changed to tomorrow....

My dr. called on Friday and changed my procedure date for the Halo procedure to tomorrow. I was ready for Thurs....but not real ready for tomorrow! My husband was able to take off work to be there with me, so I'm VERY happy about that! I'm not sure what to expect for pain afterward and that worries me.
Anyway....I'll let ya know how it goes.....

Hi Roxie:

I'm holding your hand (cyber speaking that is)

You'll do just fine. You post when you're able okay?

Best of luck,
Mel

HI Mel!
Thank you! I have a great dr....so I'm sure all will go ok.
Have you been to Dukin Donut yet for your weekly treat?? :)

mrsD 09-09-2007 11:08 AM

oh, I know how that goes!

I do that "prepare" thing with the dentist. Any emergency just blows me away!

Good luck...ditto, etc!

Its better just to get it over with, you have less time to think about it...good luck and i hope no pain.

Roxie2007 09-09-2007 12:35 PM

HI Mrs.D and Hey Joe!
Yes I should look at it as the sooner I have the procedure the sooner it's over with! I guess I'm just dreading one more procedure! I've had so many tests, pokes and prods with all the test for my neuropathy......UGH!!!!!! Thanks all.......I really appreciate it!

Roxie

The very best to you - I agree w/ HeyJoe, sometimes the sooner the better, less time to agonize over the what if scenarios. I'm sure you'll do well w/ your husband's support and that from the forum.
Good luck and good thoughts for a complete and swift recovery w/ a minimum amount of pain.

I like to prepare too...but again, less time to worry. You will be in our thoughts and prayers!

MelodyL 09-09-2007 01:18 PM

Yes, my dear Roxie.

Alan just came home from work and we met up in Dunkin. He is now sleeping.

So you just go to sleep tonight and have a restful night. All will be fine. We are here for you.

Oh Wow!

A surprise huh Roxie!? I would be glad you are getting it over with sooner. But I know what you mean by not being prepared. I prepare the very devil out of everything. Frustrates my poor husband to no end. :D But it always pays off in spite of his eye rolling.

I'll be thinking about you. I'm wishing you good luck and less pain.

Billye
