Im Concerned

I had been having heart skipping once a day or maybe nothing.. until today I had heart skipping 3 times, weird headache on my right side behind the ear... and along with that, i got weird pains in weird spots, such as throbbing pain in my armpit, and in the between of pelvis and the leg... throbbing pain...I KNOW i am not imaging the things that I menotied... I talked to my dr and he is much like, its nothing.. maybe its stress, just keep eye on it.. but I knew theres something, SOMETHING is going on but i cant pin the point down to what... I had been researching on the internet with those symtops... Any ideas? Any suggestion where to start? Many many thanks and appericate if anyone can help me out!

Thanks,
Carri (in WI)

Sorry with those kind of symtoms I personally would go to the ER.

And see what they think. I wouldn't be dealing with a doctor that
doesn't think is anything, especially if its bothering you.

Welcome Carri,

I made a copy of your post and placed it one the General Health Conditions & Rare Disorders forum, I thought you might get more replies there.

My thought from what you posted makes me think of thyroid and lymph glands.

Im a 128 lbs young woman, doesnt the glands tends to be a poblem for overweight (i hate to use that word) people or it can occur with any kind of people.. I had heard a bit about this topic before...a nice small educations would be nice also...

Mostly definately, am thinking of doing that.. but, like with other people hate to deal with the ER.. but seriously, I just might will...

Carri, I'd ask for a referral to a cardiologist - if it's not a sudden onset and you've been feeling as you do for a while. If it's sudden onset, I'd also go to ER.

Who knows what it might be, but it's better to find out. It could range from anxiety to murmur or valves. Only a doc will be able to discern and determine if it is something to warrant medication (such as a beta blocker, etc.) or more.

My ENT detected an irregularity and it led to more. Personally, I favor cardiologists who opt for monitoring that has "loop-back" (monitoring worn for several days - 45 for me - and it records and transmits several minutes prior to when the button is depressed and sends the recording to a technician and cardio. doc monitoring). A living being gets on the phone from the center where the recordings are transmitted. If serious, the person will ask if emergency response is wanted/needed.

Because people are so unique, I just wouldn't mess around when it comes to heart symptoms.
